Worthing Tutors is run by Georgina Penson BEd (hons), MA. She is a qualified and experienced teacher who has worked in both primary, secondary and special schools and has been head of subject and head of year before moving to work as a full time tutor. Georgina has worked as a private tutor for over 10 years and is able to provide a personalised tailored programme to help you or your child achieve their full potential. She is also a Maths Expert Examiner for Pearson Edexcel in addition to working for them delivering their tuition programme.

At Worthing Tutors, we offer tailored Maths tuition for students aged 7 and above, covering a wide range of exams including GCSE, level 2 Further Maths Certificate, AS level, A level, IB and Functional skills at all levels. We can also provide support for SATs, CATs, 11 plus and similar entrance exams. Our experienced tutor, Georgina, helps students feel confident and capable with clear explanations, structured practice and a friendly teaching style that helps them relax and learn at their own pace. . Similar to our Maths provision we can provide online sessions to fit around busy schedules and can offer face to face lessons for those that are available during the school day. Georgina can also come into schools to provide specialist support for pupils with specific language difficulties like ASD or Dyslexia.
Lessons in English and Maths are available for pupils with special needs. This includes those with diagnosed conditions such as ASD, Dyslexia, ADHD, slow memory processing and those that are falling behind without a specific reason. Worthing Tutors can help parents connect with the correct professionals to get a diagnosis and also help with navigating the route to securing an EHCP and funding for your child if appropriate.
